How do I record a meeting?
Open MeetIQ, tap the record button, and grant microphone permission when prompted. Tap stop when you're done — MeetIQ then transcribes the audio and generates a summary with key points and action items.
Why does MeetIQ need microphone and speech recognition access?
The microphone is used to record meeting audio, and speech recognition converts that audio into a transcript. You can manage these permissions anytime in Settings → MeetIQ.
Is my data private?
Transcription uses Apple's Speech framework (on-device where possible). If you use MeetIQ without signing in, your meetings stay on your device. If you sign in, your meetings — including audio, transcripts, and summaries — are securely synced to your account in the cloud. To generate summaries, transcript text is processed by our AI provider. How do summaries and action items work?
After a recording is transcribed, MeetIQ generates a concise summary, key points, and suggested action items you can track and check off.
What does the subscription include, and how do I manage it?
A subscription unlocks premium features. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. To view, change, or cancel, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open MeetIQ, go to the upgrade screen, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
A recording failed or the app behaved unexpectedly — what should I do?
Try closing and reopening the app, and ensure you're on the latest version. If the problem persists, email us with the details above.
